Adam Strange planned what he thought would be one final trip to his native Earth before permanently relocating to his adopted faraway home world of Rann. On Earth, Strange is merely an archaeologist, but on Rann he is a super–hero and planetary champion with a beautiful wife and an adoring public. Strange duly waited for the zeta beam to transport him back to Rann, but it never came. Uncertain what to do, Strange turned to Superman, who revealed Rann’s star went supernova. After hearing the sad news, Strange gave up on life and started drinking. Ensuing events bring an abrupt end to Strange’s grieving and suggest there may be more to Rann than Superman knew. Strange embarks on a mission to discover the truth. This eight issue revival of DC’s Silver Age cult hit written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Pascal Ferry features the Omega Men in later issues.
