Tony Wong began Jademan (Holdings) Limited back in 1971 and finally hit upon a comic book formula that kept gaining popularity all over Hong Kong. They would control every aspect of the comic book production, from writing to actual printing. Jademan Kung Fu Special was designed to introduce English speaking audiences to the Jademan format and characters. Oriental Heroes, The Blood Sword, Drunken Fist, and The Force of Buddha’s Palm are all introduced here with a brief description of the stories and characters to help bring new readers up to date. All four titles lasted from 1988 until the early 1990s.
