Longtime Wolverine foe Sabretooth now stars in this, his first solo title. As an arch-assassin, Sabretooth uses his teeth and claws to do his deadly work. Having gained a name for himself with his effectiveness and savage enjoyment of his work, he now earns a very comfortable living.

All that is disturbed one night when his live-in “companion” arranges for his abduction. Taken into the none-too-gentle care of a figure known as the Tribune, Sabretooth unwillingly undergoes a series of operations. These operations have the effect of increasing his strength, so that he might carry out a very special assassination. At the same time, six ounces of explosive is implanted next to his heart to ensure his compliance. Having little other choice, Sabretooth agrees to the mission. But as soon as it’s over, he’ll be coming back…for revenge!
