Warlock (2nd Series)

Adam Warlock was born on Earth in a research facility known as the Hive. The goal of that facility was to create the perfect man—and use him to conquer the world. When Warlock sprang, full-grown from his high-tech “womb,” he sensed the real reason he had been created, and destroyed the Hive. He then set out among the stars, eventually encountering the High Evolutionary. As a result of that meeting, Warlock became the first great hero of a world called Counter-Earth—fighting against its evil “New-Men,” and finally dying in the struggle. But Warlock’s spirit overcame death itself, and returned the New-Men to their animal forms, saving Counter-Earth.

This title brings the original story of Warlock to a whole new generation of readers. A little-known, but incredibly important character, Warlock is now known as the pivotal figure of the Infinity Gauntlet saga and the Infinity War.
