n the 1980s, the animated epic Robotech was the introduction to Japanese animation for many of today’s fans of the art form. Wildstorm aims to bring the spirit and adventure of the classic series to a whole new generation of fans with this title. “Robotech” is literally the term for the alien technology which crashed onto Earth and enabled the world to fend off a subsequent alien invasion – an invasion which ultimately included numerous alien races and spanned several generations. At the heart of the adventure, though, are humans, like Captain Rick Hunter, and this is their story too, and how the wars change and shape their lives.

This new adaptation of the series also promises to take the adventure into the future, showing what comes next after the stories already presented. Issues feature art by a variety of Wildstorm creators including Jim Lee.
