Demne always thought the legend of Ghost Wolf was just a story. He assumed the same about tales of savage marauders roaming the land, of course, until they attacked his people and nearly obliterated them. Awaiting his own death, Demne learns that the Ghost Wolf stories his grandfather told him were more than just stories: they were his people's history. Years later, as an adult, Demne sees the remaining members of his tribe going soft: the soul and spirit driven out of them. When attackers came upon them once again, led by a powerful stranger, he knows that only the Ghost Wolf can save them. Near death once again, Demne learns the truth about Ghost Wolf. Would this lesson be in time to save him?

Somber and grim, this comic uses a native legend to touch on deeper themes of spirituality and heroism. Written by Juan Torres and drawn by multiple artists.
