The Incredible Hulk Versus Quasimodo

™ and ©1983 Marvel Entertainment Group

Quasimodo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, is one of the mythic figures of horror. A terribly disfigured monster, he lives in seclusion in the bell towers of that great Paris cathedral, every once and again ringing its great bells to toll his pain.

Bruce Banner is a noted American scientist whose exposure to gamma radiation has given him the terrible alter-ego of the Hulk. Banner has traveled far in search of a cure, ending up (along with Betty Ross, his sweetheart) in Paris, where an experimental formula may end his curse.

Their paths cross when Quasimodo kidnaps Betty to get the key that hangs around her neck—a key which, unbeknownst to Betty, gives crucial access to France’s gold depository. After Quasimodo steals Betty, Bruce Banner must do battle against him as the Incredible Hulk. What follows will change one of their lives forever.
