Paradise X: X

This installment of Alex Ross and Jim Krueger’s sprawling trilogy is set in one of the Marvel Universe‘s alternate futures, and is essentially an homage to Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic. Sure, Captain America and the Sub-Mariner came before him, but Mr. Fantastic is the premiere hero of the Marvel Age of Comics and is given his due here. Now Richards must help those same heroes find peace and bring order to Mar-Vell’s vision of Paradise. It’s a fitting tribute to the man who fired the signal into the skies to announce the arrival of the Fantastic Four in 1961.
