Tales to Offend

    (Dark Horse, 1997)
™ and ©1995-1997 Frank Miller, Inc.

The stories offered here come from the mind of Frank Miller, well known for his work on Sin City, Batman: The Dark Knight, and the character of Elektra, just to name a few. Although a few unrelated short stories are presented, the main character in Tales to Offend is Lance Blastoff. Lance roams the universe in his starship Phallica, accompanied by his bodacious crew of “slutbots.” He’s totally crude, rude, and chauvinistic, and the babes love him for it! But Lance has a lot more going for him than the way he treats women. He’s pretty much destined to tick off everyone, from animal rights activists to the tobacco industry. Of course, deep down where it counts, Lance is a true hero with a heart of gold just trying to get out. Yeah, right!
