Picture Puzzle

Like the Comic Clock, this is another of Fawcett’s line of toys, sold in comic-sized envelopes for the low price of a dime. The Picture puzzles were simple jigsaw puzzles featuring various Fawcett funny animal characters, and also included a text story featuring those critters. Billed as “Dollars of Delight for a Dime,” these are a real curiousity today, and must have seemed a terrific value for kids at the time.
