Mek

In the not-so-distant future, the latest trend among the hip and the cool is not facial piercings or body art, but cybertronic extensions, or Mek. Yet another mind-bender from writer Warren Ellis (The Authority, Global Frequency), this sci-fi story is edgy, witty and full of surprises. Mek is all the rage, a fashion statement, a cultural deviation and more. But it has taken a turn for the dark side, with some using it for military applications, and violence has tarnished its reputation. An interesting look at the world of fashion and technology trends with bright and dynamic artwork from Steve Rolston (also known for his excellent punk rock mini-series Pounded).
