Little Shop of Horrors

Seymour was a clumsy loser who worked in a failing flower shop and pined after Audrey, a co-worker with a borderline sadistic boyfriend (not surprisingly, a dentist). Then he brought home a strange plant that appeared after a solar eclipse, and his life was changed. The little plant was so interesting that people started flocking in to the moribund flower shop. His boss suddenly saw him as a hero, and Audrey started taking an interest in him.

But the plant started to die, and nothing Seymour could feed it seemed to make it better. Then Seymour accidentally cut his finger, spilling a few drops of blood onto the new plant. Overnight, it grew enormously. Fed by Seymour’s blood, it soon grew into a huge plant. Then one day, it spoke—promising Seymour the object of his heart’s desire if only he would feed it something truly nourishing…such as Audrey’s boyfriend!
