G.I. Joe Special Missions

The G.I. Joes (from G.I. Joe, a Real American Hero) are a special group of fighters from all branches of the military. Each has a colorful codename, as well as a unique specialty. Shipwreck, for instance, is a master seaman, and Deep Six is the team’s diving specialist. In G.I. Joe Special Missions, the team sends out strike forces to handle a variety of high-risk operations. In the early issues, the Joes would snatch a high-ranking Russian defector and take on a Doomsday machine which threatens to destroy the world.
