Assassin School

Assassin School is a manga-styled series with a ridiculous premise that could only work in the anime-influenced storytelling that it employs. The new secret weapon of the U.S. government is a school that instructs teenage girls on how to become top-flight assassins.

In the first issue, one of the most promising students, a feisty blonde named Emma, is given the mission of killing a terrorist with a single shot. Everything is appropriately—since nobody could take this seriously—played for laughs, and Edu Francisco’s over-the-top illustrations do its best to imitate Japanese art.
