Patrick The Wolf Boy: Post Father’s Day Special

    (Blindwolf, 2004)
™ and © Blind Wolf Studios

Rarrgh! Patrick the Wolf Boy is produced by the creative team of Art Baltazar and Franco Aureliani. Patrick seems to have used elements of Dennis the Menace (Patrick’s relationship with his parents), Peanuts (Patrick’s shirt design is reminiscent of Charlie Brown’s), and The Munsters (Eddie Munster). Though basically mute except for the occasional “Rarrgh,” Patrick compensates by appearing in many pantomime stories throughout the book with highly comical and entertaining results. Backing features Baltazar’s Squatch, The Baby Bigfoot, utilizing the same pantomime technique. Instead of numbers, issues are identified with such subtitles as “Mother’s Day Special”, “Father’s Day Special”, “Halloween Special”, etc., and are produced by Blind Wolf Studios.
