This black-and-white series from New England Comics and creator Andrew Hite focuses on the tragedies of the Nazi invasion of Russia during World War II. The story is told from the point-of-view of Katerina Ilya Petrovich, a woman whose husband was killed defending his homeland from the Nazis; she faces death at every turn, watching friends, loved ones, and strangers die from the violence, the hunger, and the cold. Grudgingly, Katerina agrees to participate in scientific experiments that will explore her apparent clairvoyant and mind reading abilities.
