By luck or by design, Jim Henson’s Muppets were always at the forefront of a new innovation in television. After numerous appearances on various variety shows, the Muppets were among the first in Public Television with Sesame Street, then among the first in successful first run syndication programming with The Muppet Show and then among the first in successful first run cable programming with Fraggle Rock, of which this comic book is based. It’s about a group of Muppets called Fraggles who live in this aforementioned place with a group of miners.
