Beowulf

™ and ©1975 DC Comics, Inc.

In medieval times, Beowulf hunted down a grim murderer, Grendel, who senselessly killed his men. For this he was immortalized in the oldest existing English saga. Now the classic story has been updated into a set of adventures. Beowulf does much more than just slay dragons. Eternal arch-nemesis Grendel has made a deal with Satan and now has supernatural powers which he uses to try to kill Beowulf and his friends.

Beowulf’s a powerful warrior, but he gets some legendary help from his historic comrades, Hondscio and Wiglaf; and some new heroes, Nan-Zee the Amazon, and Shaper, the story-teller and magician in the group.
