DC brings the same deft storytelling which made The Batman Adventures such a hit on television to this new series. Using clean, animation-inspired artwork, it presents new adventures starring various DC heroes such as The Flash and Catwoman. Although creators Steve Vance and John Delaney make the series look simple and approachable, the series appeals equally to adults and children. Indeed, there’s some very nice technique exhibited on stories such as “Catch as Cat Can” where the entire tale of Catwoman and a jewel heist gone wrong is told entirely through pictures, without any dialogue or captioning.
