According to the text page, “Three is a black and white anthology featuring a variety of stories and art styles.” This may be true, but the stories share sketchy rendering styles and violent to ultra-violent storylines in spite of the fact that “[t]here is no theme, or direction, and each contributor is allowed free creative reign.” Assassins, vigilante groups, and blind hermits take center stage in the stories in this anthology title, but it is difficult to see where things are headed when there is little in the way of explanation or back story to bring readers up to speed.
