Part of the original Image lineup, Jim Valentino’s Shadowhawk introduced us to a “hero” who punished criminals not through incarceration or even death, but rather by breaking their backs, rendering them paralyzed for life.

Published by comic magazine Hero Illustrated and Jim Valentino’s Shadowhawk Ink, this ashcan style book was designed to give readers a short primer on the history of Valentino’s Shadowhawk title. The book offers short previews and teasers for the five planned Shadowhawk series, as well as 7 pages of black-and-white artwork.
