Bullwinkle and Rocky (Charlton)

    (Charlton, 1970-1971)
™ and © Charlton Publications, Inc.

Released during the time that Gold Key took a breather from the famous dimwitted moose (Gold Key published two issues of Bullwinkle in the early 60s, then resumed their numbering with issue 3 in 1972 when they got the license back). This series features all-new stories of moose and squirrel with their typical hyjinx. Not bad as far as these things go — it’s one of the more impressive licensed character comic books to come from the long gone publishing arm of Charlton.
