Humants

This black-and-white super-hero series tells of the arrival of the Omnispawn—no relation to Todd McFarlane’s anti-hero with the big cape and the chains—in our reality. His presence threatens the entire universe; and therefore, it is up to four brave men to save reality as they know it. They are reborn as the Humants: Magistar, the brilliant team leader and tactician; Man-Ark, the requisite strong-man; Sojourner, the skilled hand-to-hand combatant of the group; and the Herald, the team’s cosmic powerhouse—valiant warriors who must stop the devastation wrought by the Omnispawn. While entertaining, this title does little to reinvent the concept of the super-hero.
