This two-issue adaptation from Dark Horse of the fourth Aliens movie features story and art by Jim Vance and Eduardo Risso respectively. Ripley, who sacrificed herself to prevent the birth of another Alien in Alien 3, returns, albeit as a clone in this tale. She again finds herself leading a hapless group of would-be victims, but this time against an alien hybrid. It is Ripley’s status as a clone that is significant to the existence of the hybrid, making this confrontation more personal than ever. So personal in fact that it could almost be called…maternal.
