Matt Howarth’s Savage Henry is a madcap musician in search of weirdness. He’s the lead guitarist of the Bulldaggers, the premiere musical group in Bugtown. Henry’s quest for weirdness in life is aided by the fact that he, like all the residents of Bugtown, can travel at will between the various alternate planes of reality.

In the three-issue mini-series Headstrong, Henry bumps into a variety of characters who exist at the fringes of our own weird reality. Among them is avant-garde composer Ron Geesin, who is known for co-writing Pink Floyd’s Atom Heart Mother album, Music From the Body with Roger Waters, and numerous albums and television scores of his own. When Geesin’s muse decides to give him the ability to manipulate reality as well as music, the result is just the sort of strangeness that draws Henry like a magnet.
