Recommended for adults, this slick black and white magazine is dedicated to short horror stories and illustrations. Always pushing the bounds of good taste, Carnopolis contains material from a wide variety of contributors. Stories serialized during the magazine’s run include “Zombies of the SS” by Marco Polo, combining Nazis, zombies, and espionage, “Deanna of the Dead” by Bill Skaar, highlighting a Goth queen who enjoys stripping in graveyards, and “Winter” by Noeland Collins, featuring non-stop Zombie mayhem. The magazine also spotlights pin-ups and cosmic horror art by artists such as Peter Clarke, James Ryman, Eric Pigors and many others.
