Dragonslayer

    (Marvel, 1981)
™ and ©1981 Paramount Pictures Corporation

It’s the sixth century, and it’s not a pleasant place to be. Here, a kingdom lives in terror of a powerful dragon, and only the sacrifice of a villager’s daughter each year keeps the dragon’s wrath at bay.

Tired of living in fear, the villagers seek out a magician to aid them, but few true magicians are left. Ulrich, master of all magic, is one of the few that remain—but he is killed by the king’s warriors when the villagers go to him for aid. It’s up to Ulrich’s apprentice, the brave, but highly unqualified Galen Bradwardyn, to finish his master’s last task. He must slay the dragon and save the village.

This two-issue story was based on the Paramount movie of the same name.
