Hello Pal Comics was a bizarre Harvey Comics publication even by Harvey Comics standards. First of all, it contained stories of Rocketman, Rocketgirl and Yankee Doodle Jones, all of which were not Harvey characters, traditionally. Secondly, the front covers featured full cover photos of a different popular celebrity of the day: Mickey Rooney, Charlie McCarthy, and Bob Hope appeared on each successive issue, respectively. As a result, each issue, especially the second and third ones are some of the most difficult Harvey Comics to find.
