This limited series from Darkchylde creator Randy Queen finds Ariel Chylde hitting the road following the events of the first Darkchylde series and her class’s high school graduation, and it answers some questions about the source of the beautiful half-demon’s Nightmare Power. In this sprawling tale, Ariel takes up with a nomadic carnival, traveling across the country and hoping to unlock some of the mysteries in her past; for example, where did she get the ability to become nightmares from the deepest recesses of men’s mind? And what does the serial killer Silencer have to do with her origin? Good stuff—even if it is a big ol’ slice of cheesecake!
