Based on the novel by Jeff Rice, Kolchak: The Night Stalker might be best remembered for the film and TV series it originally spun off in the 70s, a cult classic that helped inspire The X-Files. Kolchak is a Las Vegas reporter/photographer who can be viewed as the John Constantine of his time, a loner often getting personally involved in the supernatural cases that seem to follow him. In this graphic novel, Kolchak investigates the grisly crime of women appearing dead on the streets, their blood drained.
