Although his rabbi father still calls him Herschel Krustofski, everyone else knows him as Krusty the Clown, the madcap entertainment giant in the world of the Simpsons. Self-absorbed and self-promoting to the extreme, he’s nonetheless Bart Simpson’s hero. In fact, Bart has on numerous occasions saved Krusty from catastrophe (although, unfortunately, Krusty never seems to remember his name).

Krusty Comics features Krusty’s wacky adventures in the town of Springfield. It begins as Krusty tries to build the giant amusement park “Krustyland” in order to rake in the profits (and prove to his father that he’s not a schmuck). Of course, to fund the park’s construction, Krusty turns to such dubious sources as the mob, participating in medical experiments, and agreeing to store toxic waste on the premises. Even that’s not the end of his problems, though, as he eventually discovers that the site itself is haunted.
