Catfight

    (Insomnia, 1995)
™ and ©1995 Steven V. Zyskowski

In Catfight, a little girl is empowered to fight crime by Prince Nightmare of the Land of Insomnia. In a sort of “Shazam-esque” way, the little girl turns into the title character, who is a grown woman, by rubbing an amulet that she wears around her neck. Catfight concentrates her efforts on fighting crimes against children and child abuse.

In one of her earliest adventures, Catfight empowers a little boy while trying to save his sister from a villain known as the Lolli-pop Man. This engorged and depraved man gets his kicks by giving lollipops laced with drugs to children, then kidnapping and abusing them.

Catfight was the first title from Lightning Comics’ Insomnia imprint.
