Deep in the heart of a secured facility, a very special armored suit has been developed. Capable of unbelievable, deadly force, the suit is driven by a psionic link with its wearer. Unfortunately that meant that the suit could only be driven to its full potential by a person with a rare kind of highly repressed personality.
Accordingly, “auditions” were held. But although the applicants were screened carefully, an outsider somehow managed to infiltrate the program and proved all too perfect a match for the armored suit. Driving the suit to its full power, he suddenly went “haywire” and began killing the technicians. This stranger managed to steal the suit and is using it to carry out a particularly nasty war against organized crime.
Nobody seems to know who Haywire is—including Haywire himself!
