The follow-up to the original Kindred mini-series from Wildstorm Studios when Jim Lee was still with Image Comics, this new series again teams the WildC.A.T.S.’s Grifter with former Stormwatch team member, Backlash. On the hunt of half-breed monsters (part human and part animal) the duo face dog-men, cat-women and reptilian villains. The series also flashes back to the history between the two head-strong characters, revealing secrets of their past with Team 7 and International Operations (IO), the covert government agency that maneuvers behind the scenes in the Wildstorm universe. Tons of action, with a bit of mystery and intrigue thrown in for good measure, Kindred II promises an entertaining read for any fan of the Wildstorm Universe’s early days at Image Comics.
