Mars Attacks the Savage Dragon

    (Topps, 1996-1997)
™ and ©1997 Topps Comics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Topps Company, Inc. Savage Dragon ™ and ©1997 Erik Larsen

Tapping into the Savage Dragon’s unknown origins, those rascally, l’il Martians convince him he’s a mutated Martian dispatched to Earth as a spy. So when they attack the Image earth (see Mars Attacks Image), the Dragon is returned to Mars for debriefing and causes all kinds of chaos. This is the same type of tongue-in-cheek romp common to both parent titles, so readers of those titles are likely to enjoy this as well. Although a complementary title (and presumably for contractual balance), it’s not necessary to read Mars Attacks Image to understand this.
