Excalibur (Mini-Series)

This four-issue limited series is from writer Ben Raab (Legend of the Hawkman) and artist Pablo Raimondi (Superman: The Man of Steel). It finds Brian Braddock (the once and future Captain Britain), his sister Betsy (the X-Men’s Psylocke), his wife Meggan, and the Black Knight—as well as an entire crew of Captains Britain—in search of Excalibur, King Arthur’s legendary sword of power, in an effort to defeat the mad goddess Roma, who is wreaking havoc on a number of Earths. Raab’s story picks up on some of the concepts introduced in the original, monthly Excalibur title, and it’s an exciting one, full of noble heroes on a noble quest.
