Silent Hill: Among the Damned

This tie–in adaptation of the ultra–popular horror videogame from Konami has more gruesome bits and scary moments than the source material games. Jason is a retired soldier suffering from the effects of war and his guilt over surviving where his brother died. On his way to the mountains to finish himself off and end his recurring nightmares, Jason runs into car trouble in the mysterious town of Silent Hill. For those familiar with the series of videogames, you know that Jason is in for a whole lot of trouble. As spooky, moody, and bizarrely graphic as the games ever are, any fan of the video games or the horror genre should get on board with this book. Atmospheric art from Shaun Thomas (a clone of Ashley Wood, but with his own unique stamp) only add to the creepy chills the book offers.
