Reprinting issues 34 & 35 from Dragon’s regular series in one book, this zombie investigation turns out to be the team-up from hell. When Dragon hears reports of the undead invading Chicago, he drops his Christmas celebrations to investigate. He ends up joining forces with the elite paranormal investigator Hellboy. The cause of the disturbance is revealed to be the villain BrainiApe, an intelligent ape with a fishbowl over his exposed brain. When our heroes confront him, it’s enough to shock the simian’s brain into recalling his past life as Adolph Hitler. Having fun yet? It gets better. When Dragon and Hellboy are forced by BrainiApe’s mind powers to fight each other, they escape and are swallowed by a giant sea monster. Guess where they have to “exit” the beast? Savage Dragon/Hellboy may not be fun for the entire family, but it sure is fun.
