Plastic Little follows the adventures of Captain Tita Mu Koshigaya and the Pet Shop Hunters of the Cha Cha Maru, a Hunter ship that she inherited from her late father. Pet Shop Hunters are people who specialize in capturing and selling Yietta’s exotic life forms for the intergalactic pet store market. Plastic Little is set on the breathtakingly beautiful planet Yietta, which supports a thriving metropolis of colonists who live on artificial islands floating on the sea of clouds and make their living by exporting the planet’s unique resources. This mature reader compilation highlights five crewmember stories: Tita, Joshua L. Balboa, Mei Lin Jones and Mikail DiAgleff and their motivations. One realizes that Tita’s decisions place the lives of her crew and herself in mortal peril, and she’s the type who likes to see things through.
