In the famous Looney Tunes cartoons, Porky Pig’s most obvious personality trait is his stuttering speech. That characteristic would be a bit of a chore to read, so in this series Porky speaks quite well. The short stories, (usually five to eight pages), are aimed at very young children who would be familiar with the characters from the cartoons. And when he’s not chasing Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat also appears in selected stories as Porky’s partner.
