The Wages of Sin is a four-issue mini-series continuing the adventures of Nexus. Nexus is a super-powerful being whose abilities were given to him by an alien called the Merk. In exchange for the powers, the Merk sent Nexus dreams in which he learned the identities of mass-murderers which he must track down and execute. As this series begins, however, the Merk is dead, and Nexus has lost the power to find mass-murderers in his dreams. He must rely on his wit to get him where he needs to be. In Wages of Sin, Nexus takes on “charity case” executions as he redefines his role and what he is doing.

Nexus’ creators Mike Baron and Steve Rude handled the art and writing on this 1995 series.
