Beautiful Killer
(Black Bull, 2002-2003)

Perhaps it was the movie (and subsequent television series) La Femme Nikita, or perhaps it was the TV show Alias, but deadly female assassins—beautiful killers—are immensely popular everywhere these days, including in the world of comic books. Here, that assassin is the daughter of a couple who disappeared from a secret spy organization on less than ideal terms some 20 years ago, only to surface and be eliminated. Now she’s out for revenge, and she knows everything she needs to about that organization to get it. The question is, has she inherited her parents’ skills?
Cool and beautiful, like the heroine, this series is written by Jimmy Palmiotti and drawn by Phil Noto.
