The chief demon of Limbo, S’ym, had hatched a plan to gain even greater power for himself. To accomplish this, he needed to have thirteen children of power brought from our dimension to Limbo, where he would sacrifice them in a dread rite. Accordingly, S’ym sent the demon N’astirh and his minions to Earth to fetch these prizes for him.

Meanwhile, the mutant children recently discovered by X-Factor were adjusting to their new lives. Rusty Collins had been sent to jail for desertion, Leech and Artie Maddox had been enrolled in St. Simon’s Academy, and Boom Boom and Skids were trying to cope with life at an exclusive prep school. Then, N’astirh and his demons appeared to steal away Leech and Artie in the middle of the night. A wheelchair-bound technical genius named Takeshi raised the alarm and gathered the X-Factor kids together. In this 4-issue series, these “X-Terminators” must rush into Limbo to save their friends.
