Sergio Aragonés was born in Spain, grew up in Mexico, and wound up in New York City in 1962 with $20 in his pocket and a portfolio of his particular type of pantomime art. Six months later he was visiting the offices of Mad magazine and has been a part of their family ever since. He has done work for Marvel, DC and a host of other publishers, but his wordless comedies stand out where ever someone has the good fortune to show his work.

Aragonés’ work transcends language, as shown in this collection of typical vignettes that cross the every day spectrum. His twist endings bring laughter to just about every reader who takes the time to listen to his stories one panel at a time.
