The Phantom Stranger (2nd Series)

The Phantom Stranger is a mysterious figure who appears out of nowhere to help save innocents from evil forces. To accomplish his goal, he employs a variety of mystical powers, then disappears as suddenly as he had first arrived.

This second Phantom Stranger series brought him out of the shadows and into the Silver Age. He served as the headliner in this collection of supernatural tales which included backup stories featuring Mark Merlin, a modern day sorcerer; and Doctor Thirteen, a “ghost-breaker” who specialized in solving mysteries while proving that the ghosts who seemed to be behind things were in fact frauds; and Deadman, the spirit of an assassinated circus aerialist who can inhabit other people’s bodies in order to fight for good.
