This is one of a series of books featuring team members of the Power Company: a new team of heroes that work exactly like a law firm complete with hourly rates and a corporate partner structure. In this issue the reader is introduced to the character of Witchfire, a wild pop icon, known equally for her songs and her daredevil stunts. Endowed with the meta-human ability to manipulate pyrotechnic magical runes, this adventure finds Witchfire inadvertently teamed with Wonder Woman. Mayhem ensues at a concert for Witchfire and the two are forced to battle with an ancient god of the dead. This is a great lead-in story to the adventures of the Power Company.
