Bill the Bull: One Shot, One Bourbon, One Beer
(Boneyard, 1994)
™ and © 1994 Hart D. Fisher
Bill the Bull is the demonic protagonist of this extremely violent revenge story. After one of his childhood pals is murdered, Bill the Bull wants to spill blood. After pounding on hoodlums who don’t have a chance against his bulk and strength, he finds the prostitute who killed his friend. What he does to her easily justifies the comic’s Mature Readers label. Dialogue is sparse, often R-rated. The cover, featuring Bill the Bull with a bottle of hard liquor on one hand and a gun on the other, symbolizes the book’s in-your-face attitude.
