Smallville: The Comic

The WB television series “Smallville” has arguably become more of a hit with fans of the Superman mythos, and of course legions of loyal television viewers, than any of the various comic book incarnations of Superboy ever did. It’s certainly better received by critics. This title offers an animated take on the live action series, in two stories focusing on the trio of characters that makes the show tick: Clark Kent, best friend Lex Luthor, and friend (girlfriend?) Lana Lang. One story involves dinosaur remains and a vengeful student at a construction site; the other enters the mind of young, complex Lex Luthor.

This one-shot also features photographs from the TV show, interviews with each of the three principal actors, and features on the making of the TV show.
