Something of a cult classic amongst Halloween fans, Mad Monster Party was a puppet-animation movie in the same vein as Frosty the Snowman. Its star was Boris Karloff (in voice-over and puppet form) playing the part of Baron Von Frankenstein. His latest discovery was a process for utterly destroying matter, and he invited famous monsters from around the world to join him in celebrating. The guest list included Dracula, the Mummy, Werewolf, the Phantom of the Opera…and a bumbling shop assistant named Felix.

Felix, it seems, was Frankenstein’s closest living relation, and it was to him that Frankenstein hoped to pass on the family business. But poor Felix has no idea what he’s getting into—or that many of the monsters may want to keep Frankenstein’s secret for themselves!
