Who is the Visitor? Why is he here? What does he want?

Those questions follow the mysterious hero throughout this short-lived series as he deals with people’s fears of his alien origins even as he helps mankind in times of direst need. Unlike Superman, who is embraced by Earth’s populace in spite of his otherworldly background, the Visitor is not trusted, and his good deeds are only reluctantly accepted by the residents of the Valiant Comics universe. Of course, the Visitor’s heroics bring him into conflict with the sinister Harada—Valiant’s all-around, super-nasty corporate honcho—and his Harbinger Foundation. Entertaining, if somewhat standard, super-hero fare from writer Kevin Van Hook and artist Bernard Chang.
